Colt DCS celebrates India’s 53rd National Safety Week

12 Mar 2024

Last week, the Colt DCS Mumbai team once again participated in celebrating India’s National Safety Week.

Now in its 53rd year, the campaign was originally initiated in 1972 to commemorate the foundation day of the National Safety Council. Having expanded from a daily occurrence to now a weekly event, National Safety Week is celebrated across the country to raise industry awareness about the importance of organisational health & safety and wellbeing, with the goal for businesses in India to move towards achieving a zero-harm status.

This year’s celebrations took place over the 4th - 11th March, and centred on the theme “Safety Leadership for ESG Excellence”. Over the week, daily activities associated with this year’s theme were carried out by the site team at our Mumbai data centre.
