AI-designed data centre to deliver 40MW

Colt DCS has begun the construction of our Colt Paris 2 Data Centre in Villebon-Sur-Yvette, located in the southwest of Paris.  

This facility is the first of three new data centres being developed at the site. It has been designed to meet the cooling demands of high-density AI workloads through a hybrid approach that combines traditional air cooling with liquid-to-chip technology.  

Once fully operational, our Colt Paris 2 Data Centre will deliver 40MW of IT power. The contracted power for this AI-ready facility, along with the two additional data centres planned for the Villebon-Sur-Yvette site has been secured, totalling 120MW.

 Colt Paris 2 Data Centre is being built to provide the following key features:

With 40MW of capacity, this data centre can support very large platforms with customers requiring over 100kW of IT power per rack.

Located in the southwest of the city, this data centre is approximately 25 minutes from Paris-Orly Airport and close to major train and road transport links.

The data centre will have access to a high concentration of fibre routes, with major carriers situated nearby.

This data centre will operate on 100% renewable power to support customer sustainability goals. The cooling process will generate zero water waste, and the facility has been designed with the capability to recover waste heat for community use.
